  • Each relic costs 11,000 coins.
  • Total for 5 relics is 55,000 coins.

2. Complete the Desolate Deep Beastiary

1. Reach Desolate Deep
   • Go behind the Statue of Sovereignty until you find a buoy in the open ocean.
   • Buy the Advanced Diving Gear (15,000 coins) so you can breathe underwater.
   • Dive down, avoid the underwater mines, and keep going until you arrive at Desolate Deep.
2. Set a Spawn Point
   • Pay a small fee (usually 35 coins) at the inn (Inkeeper) so you respawn there if you die.
3. Catch Every Species
   • Fish in different spots around Desolate Deep to fill your beastiary (e.g., Bandit Fish, Phantom Ray, Cockatoo Squid).
   • Sea Mine (or “Water Mine”): Place crab cages throughout the area to capture this mythic/rare item. It can be time-consuming, but luck boosts from Merlin can help.

3. Collect 150,000 Coins

You need 150,000 coins purely for purchasing the rod after unlocking it.

• Pro Tip: Fish valuable species (like Nurse Sharks in Roset Bay) or complete other profitable activities to gather coins faster.

4. Locate the Secret Door in Desolate Deep

Once you have:

• The 5 relics
• The entire beastiary completed
• The 150,000 coins

Head to the underwater bone structures in Desolate Deep. There’s a hidden tunnel among the rocks. Swim through it until you reach a room with five pedestals.

5. Place the Relics

• Put one relic on each pedestal (5 total).
• The door will automatically open, revealing the final area.

6. Buy the Trident Rod

• Proceed to the new room where you can purchase the Trident Rod for 150,000 coins.
• A shell or conch near the rod allows a quick return to your spawn.

Requirements

To unlock the Trident Rod by yourself, you need:

1. 5 Relics (Ancient Relics)
   • Either get them randomly while fishing (requires luck)
