The Second Sea is a massive new area added in Fisch Update Roblox, packed with new content, powerful fishing rods, dangerous challenges, and unique mechanics. Unlocking and progressing through the Second Sea will be essential for anyone looking to stay competitive and earn the new currency: E$.
How to Unlock the Second Sea
To enter the Second Sea, head to the back of Terrapin Island and talk to the Sea Traveler NPC. He will only allow access if you meet the requirements. These include:
- Level 250
- Completing a special boss fight
If you try to enter early, you’ll get messages like “You still lack something,” or be blocked by an NPC named Silas, who warns you:
“You require Level 200”
“Come back at Level 250”
Trying to force your way in too early triggers fireball attacks and a unique death message.

What’s New in the Second Sea?
There are 7 new islands to explore:

- The Cursed Shores – Final island with the rarest rod
- Azure Lagoon – Best for money grinding
- Pine Shoals – Contains quests and hidden areas
- Lushgrove – Largest island, exploration and secrets
- Emberreach – Volcanic island with geysers and ore
Each island contains NPCs, rods, bestiary progress, and shops.
E$ – The New Currency
Once you enter the Second Sea, C$ is no longer used. Instead, you get 10,000 E$ to start with. All first sea rods are nerfed by 50% and their lure speeds are reduced to 1%, making them very weak here.
